Visiting Nurse Services will continue to facilitate the Medicaid Modernization Strategic Planning Group during Phase Two of the project. The group will continue to develop materials and training tools for disseminating critical information to healthcare and human service professionals across the state during the transition to Managed Care. The group will continue to work with Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME) to determine any issues or concerns impacting members or providers and will extend an invitation to the Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s) to participate in the process in order to highlight unmet needs or issues.
Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa will transport students of Des Moines Public Schools between their primary school and Scavo High School at Central Campus in order to receive medical and dental services provided by Primary Health Care and Des Moines Health Center.
