A coalition of advocates has come together in Iowa to work towards establishing a system for children's behavioral health in Iowa. The coalition, CAMHI4Kids, needs to better understand the state's current investment in children's behavioral health and funding sources that are being utilized. The goal of this project will be to develop a more detailed understanding of these funding streams. Activities include an initial environmental scan of the current funding map of the children's behavioral health system, interviews with fiscal experts who understand the current funding map, outreach to key stakeholders to gather intelligence to fill informational gaps, and any additional scans or research that may be necessary to better inform the environmental scan. The project would culminate in a full report with a report-out to the coalition.
