The Polk County Housing Trust Fund believes that housing justice matters in our community. In communities across the country, including Greater Des Moines, discriminatory housing policies have shaped and limited the experiences people of color and others have finding safe, stable, and affordable housing. The intent of this program is to support scholarly research and productive community dialogue about how to achieve Greater Des Moines’ progress toward equitable housing outcomes for all people and families living in the community.
