We seek to bring together a broad coalition of service providers to develop a comprehensive plan to identify existing services, gaps in service, and a full range of children’s mental health crisis services needed to address children’s mental health crisis in Polk, Warren and Dallas Counties. A list of project activities is included in the Project Activities section of this application. The overarching goal of the project is that the comprehensive plan, when implemented, will drive more appropriate and cost-efficient care with better outcomes for youth in crisis.
The plan developed will include specific, measurable outcomes for implementation of mental health crisis service for youth that will drive delivery of appropriate, evidence-based, cost effective crisis services that will achieve better outcomes for youth. A project timeline with tasks and project activities is attached to this proposal.
Orchard Place works closely with children and youth who have mental health and behavioral challenges. By interceding early with appropriate care, our mission is to develop stronger futures for our young clients.
