Improving Client Quality of Life

Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services serves 6000 adults with mental health issues per year in a five county area. This grant addresses the five social determinants of health. Eyerly Ball can treat a client’s mental health, but quality of life goes beyond medication and treatment. Clients need to live in a safe home, have medical care, friends and feel valued. The goal of this grant is to cover the gaps in funding to meet those basic, critical needs that clients with limited incomes cannot access anywhere else. Our goal is to improve a client's quality of life by providing funding specific to the five social determinants of health that are not accessible from other funders. The goal is to provide a small amount of funds that will make a big change in someone’s life.
